Professional Profile

Since 1997 I am wandering through many virtual worlds. For more than 11 years I have been founding online games companies and successfully licensed and rolled out online games across many territories by building up top teams with up to 220 employees.

The North American print magazine Beckett Massive Online Gamer honored me twice in their top 20 list of the most influential people within the MMO games business and thereby regarded me as the most influential German.

2004 I founded OnlineWelten, one of the largest online gaming portals in Europe with more than 800.000 unique visitors a month. OnlineWelten merged into Frogster Online Gaming and became the operational arm of Frogster Interactive Pictures AG, a stock market listed games publisher. A few month later I co-founded Frogster America & Frogster Asia.

Frogster successfully published and released AAA titles such as "Runes of Magic" by Runewaker (Taiwan), "TERA" by Bluehole (Korea) and "Bounty Bay Online" by Snail Game (China).

By the end of 2010 the Frogster group was sold to Gameforge for 95 Million US Dollar.

In May 2011 I founded Infernum Productions. 3 titles have been released to the European and North American market: "Brick Force", a block style Shooter by EXE Games (Korea), "Dragon's Prophet", a dragon fanatasy MMORPG by Runewaker (Taiwan) and "Hazard Ops", a third person shooter by Ying Pei Games(China).

In June 2015 Infernum assets have been taken over by gamigo AG and I joined different Advisory board seats.

I served as the CMO for my.com (now my.games) and more recently as the COO/CMO for the global gamigo group.
